Mi-Workshop has been hard at work in preparation of the art piece that is to be installed at the San Diego International Airport. The interactive, LED-lit art piece will be installed in Terminal 1, atop the baggage claim, and will respond to human movement. We are proud to announce that the installation of the piece will commence shortly! Check out some of these images for a sneak peak at the progress, and stay tuned for more images and details!

Summer Salon Series

Inspired by the work of Gustav Stickley, “Summer Salon Series 2011″ is an exhibition taking place at the San Diego Museum of Art in Balboa Park from June 2 – September 1, 2011.

The museum will spend 14 weeks examining answers to the question of “What does a city need?”, along with the help of contemporary artists, musicians, poets, and speakers.

August 18 marks the Design and Planning portion of the exhibit, and features the work of Sumi Ink Club, Matthew Hebert, Jericho Brown, and Miki Iwasaki.
